Wednesday, 4th November 2009, starts new daily life as workers. Even for 8 weeks only my internship, but i think its an opportunity for me to face the reality of being workers in the industry.

I have being assigned to corporate marketing side at the Corporate Development Department at Kolej Poly-Tech MARA Kuala Lumpur.

At 7.20 a.m i just arrived at college by cab...(phewww...'5times per week go-back to work by taxi' make my money and my head so saket...adoiii....mati laa...kering laa cmnie..huhu~)

I just wait until 8 o'clock...so nervous..huhu...marketing department?ermm..wondering where exactly the place..(even i study here,but still don't know the marketing department..ahahhahah :)) so ashamed :p nak tnye information counter,malu laaa...adoii...then look through the board,find the marketing department :) G level..ermm...then terpandang signboard tunjuk mne marketing department..ehheheh :)) yess..i'll make it at last...owwhh..just opposite to IT department...ayooo~)

knock...knock...salam...

just entered the office, looked around...found people who can i asked to meet Encik Abdullah...

mcm knal...abg Uki(Encik Shukri-MPP mse orientation programme), ermm...i asked "nak jumpe incik abdullah", then he said "tuh, straight, pintu belah kiri, dia ade,masuk lah"...

knock..knock...salam...

"en.abdullah?saya nak lapor dri utk internship"

dgn muke kompius, dia cm pelik xthu ppe,then dia tnye " owwhh..yeke..sy xtaw pon..ermm..shukri, awk ade taw yg bdk internship msok sni?"

then shukri jwb "ade cik lah, puan zahrah ade mentions 2org akn msok pektikal sni"

then cik lah ckp"kalo cmtuh oke lah...shukri,u settlekn lah"

after that, i got a desk..yey~ (even xde ppe pon..just file n document n tray je), just satisfied. (ermm...mne lgi sorg?dgr2 ade 2org yg intern kt sni?spe erk???) according to en.shukri, that desk before being used by student uitm who got intern also at the department..she just left on October..

still early i guessed, not many workers at this time..en.shukri just told me to read through the pamphlet about the programmes that offered by KPTM. (owwhh...forgot, now i'm in marketing, supposed to know about all the programmes rite?huhu~ )

around 9.30 a.m, most of the workers arrived..i was being introduced to all the workers, kak dini, kak wanie, abg sham, abg ijat, kak nani, encik aziz n puan salmah... and then another person who supposed got intern just like me arrived..at last, but i didn't know him...ermm....

he sat next to my desk..."hi, internship?, i asked.. "yep,same lah", he replied. "erm...xpnh nmpk pon...sem bape erk?stdy kt kolej ni gak kn?cos ape ea?" (byk lak aku tnye..ahhahahah).. "sem 3, IB r", dia jwb...

"aikk..xpnh nmpk pon..hermm...section bpe ea?", i still asked him..but seriously, never met him at college..." section 1, dulu amik matrik, so dh abes..smbng sini...result xbrpe gempak", he said... " no wonder, dh sthun laa stdy sni...npe pilih kptm erk?hehehehhe :))", asked me... " nk wt cne,kt sni jela tpt yg sesuai..dkt ngn umh", he answered. "ptot laa, ko ape nme?aku azah", introduction from me :) "hafizie, fizie je, so nk wtpe ni?",he said. "ntah, abg uki tuh suwo bca pamphlet ni..then puan sal ckp, mungkin kne duty kt kuanter dpn for the whole week, so kne taw laa psl program2 kt kptm..klo ade call kne jwb..then klo xtaw..take note n ckp suwo call alek nk confirmkn dulu...nthlaa...", aku jwb ngn pnjng lebar...:)

So both of us just sat down and read through the pamphlet. Suddenly, abg ijat asked us to call the schools in the lists of paper that he gave us, asked to speak with the principal or the counselor or who ever that will give us permission to hang in the KPTM's banners in those school in order to wish 'good luck' for all student who took the SPM and STPM's examinations. in the office, there were two telephones(direct lines), so we divided the lists into two, and did the orders by ourselves. Its done!. relief..hehehhe.. (seb bek xkne dok dpn,xtaw cne nk jwb klo ade call msok...huhu)

1.00-2.00 p.m: lunch break!

After lunch hour, i just sat down at the desk...i don't know what else to do..ermm...kind of bored...then fizie asked kak wanie what must we do now? she also didn't know what else to give us a work. Then she decided to ask us to do the data entry. fizie stayed at abg ijat's desk and i at the kak sai's desk because there were a PC's on it. abg ijat n abg sham were not at office because they went to schools to gave the banners and kak sai on leaved. kak wanie gave the instructions how to key in the data. understood and carried on the tasks given..yey~

so, for the first day of my internship, i just made the calls to schools asked for permission and key-in the data given. :)

5.00 p.m: finished working day and going back! yey~
